Lord Winston Avery Thomas III

We got Winston almost 2 1/2 years ago through a breeder and the first time I saw his picture I fell in love. He looked like a little e woke and I couldn't imagine my life without him. Yes, I know that sounds insane but it's true. The breeder put the name Avery for him and when we got Winston we couldn't let that name go so when we named him we decided he should be Lord Winston Avery Thomas III. He goes by Winston, Winstonion, Chonion or Wyn-Stan(Jamaican Accent)

We have decided to breed him and now I'm on the hunt to breed Winston. He is 4lbs and is so beautiful that every where I take him people are drawn to him. I also believe it's his personality too. He is very chill and doesn't give a crap about anything unless you say the word "Treat, Hungry or Spanking"

Here are some pictures of Winston from when he was a puppy and now to adult-hood. I get emotional thinking about what will happen to me when he passes away or if Jesus comes back and doesn't take my dogs with Him. Either way I am on a mission to breed Winston because I believe his beauty must be passed on. I could either breed him or clone him but for now I will breed him.

And Winston when he reached Adult Hood...

He use to have that dark blue but then one day we took him the groomers and he came back silver. Every since then he has been silver and I just love that about him. It makes him different and I love different because different is always associated with being unique.

This is how Lord Winston Avery Thomas III looks like now....

Caramel Peaches with Ice Cream

Yummo! Sorry, just typing that title just made me crave this delicious desert my uncle made this past weekend and it is not even 10:00AM yet! We had family from Dallas over this thursday night and we had dinner at my uncles house. As far as I can remember my uncle loves to cook. In India, he and my bros use to stay up all night, cook, laugh and make fun of the security guard while they ate food and just enjoyed themselves.

One of the reasons why I love this desert is because when my uncle was caramelizing the peaches you could smell it and immediately your mouth would water due to your taste buds going crazy. I believe everyone loved this desert and you will definitely see me create this desert sometime in the near future. Who doesn't love ice-cream and caramelized fruit mixed together? I know, I sure do.

25th Bday Cupcakes

So yesterday was my cousins 25th birthday and as a person who loves to bake I decided to bake her a batch of cupcakes. I also have my little cousins(ages 11-12) staying with me and they decided to help me decorate the cupcake.

My cousin went to OSU and so I decided that the icing should be orange(their colors are black and orange.) She also loves purple and has loved that color ever since I can remember(my grandmother made us t shirts once and hers was purple while mine was pink.) When I created the cupcake my cousin Katelyn told me to add the purple food coloring to get that deep royal purple and after adding a few drops of the food coloring the cupcake batter turned purple. After baking it and cooling it, I then added the orange frosting while Katelyn decorated the cupcake frosting with white pearl sprinkles.

When my cousin walked into the house my brothers sang Happy Birthday to her in a deep monotone voice and she blew out the candle without making a wish (I won't hold that against her beca
use over-all she's awesome.) Sure, I wanted to be silly so I bought the candle that will always light up after you blow it but then she got sick of it and my brother dipped the candle in frosting. No, not the frosting that was on the cupcake my cousin was eating but another cupcake he considered was the best choice to put the candle out.

Either way my cousin loved her cupcake and enjoyed it. Seeing the bliss on her face made me satisfied. The fact that one tiny cupcake can make a
25 year old go back to her days of loving sweets made me realize that anyone at any age can indulge in sweets.

Typical Dinner

Last night this was my dinner. Grilled shrimp, grilled chicken leg and potatoe salad. Of course before I ate my dinner I had a herbal salad with feta crumbled cheese and Italian dressing. I like eating healthy and I eat in portions. Of course I didn't finish this all at once but I did finish this meal in 4 hours. I like to take my time, savor my food and just enjoy myself eating. I also stop when I'm full...something a lot of people don't do. I wish people would stop eating when they're full and eat the rest of their food later so they can maintain a healthy life-style and enjoy the great things in life...such as relaxing and enjoying your life.

Crown Pendant

Yesterday, I was at Lisa's Belle De Jour Salon & Spa with my mother and fell in love with this pendant. It's done by a local artist and what I love about this pendant is that the crystals are pink(which is one of my favorite colors) and it reminds me of Queen Elizabeth II's crown. Of course the pendant reminded my mother of what the Pope wears but I just thought it looked more like the current Queens crown.

Today, I was at church receiving communion and they had a Crown on the table to symbolize Jesus wearing the crown and was there for decoration. After viewing the Crown for a minute, I immediately looked down at my pendant and just smiled with Peace realizing that I have another reason to adore Crowns.

Midnight Snack

My all time favorite snack is eating a banana with peanut butter. See, I don't like my peanut butter to be creamy because I love the Crunchy peanut butter. I love the sound I hear when I bite down the Peanut Butter and hear the "crunch", sometimes the sound is so over-powering if I'm watching TV I must put the volume up so I can hear the TV. Yes, I know...I'm such an odd character.

I love bananas, as a child in India we always ate bananas and when I asked my brother why we always eat bananas(when we traveled) his response was "Because its covered!" Till this day, I think about the days we use to eat bananas while we ride in the car watching people walk by while the sun shined throughout the land.

My all-time Love.

I love OPI nail polish. One of the reasons why I love their nail polishes is because of the brush. It's wide enough to finish off one nail at a time and because I'm an impatient person it works well for me! For sometime now OPI has an Indian collection out and one of the colors I love is called Keys to my Karma. It goes well with my skin tone and I get compliments on the color every time I paint my nails this color. As a child, I remember being on a long flight from London heading to India and there was a woman laying down sleeping with her feet exposed outside of the chair she was laying down on. I couldn't see her face but she had the most beautiful red nail polish I have ever seen on her toes. I sat in my chair admiring the red nail polish and realizing I have never seen such a sight in my life(I was barely 6 years old and never noticed anything!) Every since then I've had an obsession with the color red(for nail polish) that always stuck with me. Who ever that woman is, I want to say THANK YOU!

I honestly believe the color red goes with any skin tone and that's why red is a popular color like just the color Black. Even Valentino believes the color red suites all women in ever
y skin tone, if he didn't then he wouldn't have created his own color red called Rosso Valentino.

And who says the color of Blood is disgusting? Tell that to me and my Yorkie...Arthur; King Arthur.

Current Hate: Fake Tans

Okay, so I'm brown but I'm not THAT brown. I was thinking of getting a nice tan this summer so I decided to try out this fake tanning stuff. Guess what? I hate it! Now I have two dark lines on my right leg from the cotton pad. I am never going to use fake tanning lotion or whatever you call it ever again. I realize now that I will go outside or use a tanning bed but not a fake tanning stain ever! The only reason why I used a fake tanning stain was because Marisa Miller told some magazine that if you use fake tanning stains then go to bed and wake up in the morning you will look more bronze. Yeah, right...maybe I didn't apply the fake stain correctly but all I did was read the directions. Note to self: Never use a fake tanning stain ever again and never listen to beautiful models who can never look Fugly.

I believe if you know the ABCs of applying a fake tan then go for this product if you do not know anything about fake tanning stains/lotions, etc then don't bother. Just go to the tanning bed or lay outside in your backyard.

Chocolate Truffles

I have something to confess. When I find a certain type of food I love I love it for awhile and obsess about it and forget about it till I find another type of food that I love. Sure, I have some things that I will always love such as sushi, hamburgers, steak , french toast, chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes(I didn't know that was a southern breakfast till Corillo pointed it out to me, thank you for educating me) and you know the list goes on but right now my current new obsession is the Mcguinness Chocolate Bon Bons at McNellies and I absolutely love these! Since I love the bon bons, I decided to make Chocolate truffles inspired from the Chocolate Bon Bons. For the Truffle coating I used brown sugar, chocolate sprinkles and cocoa powder.
I will deliever the Chocolate truffles this weekend to all of my friends and family, Hopefully they will love it. If not, I am going to delete them from my life. I'm kidding, I love them...no, really I do love them.
